At Kawaguchiko Herb Garden in Yamanashi, four Shiba Inu lined up on volcanic rock before a still pond. Above them, Mount Fuji. Below them, Mount Fuji again, perfectly inverted.
The wind was wrong. The water should have rippled. It did not. Four adults knelt out of frame, desperate, waving treats. The dogs sat. The mountain stood. The pond held its breath.
"He looks calm in the photo, but actually it took four adults to desperately try and get him to look at us.", the owner
The picture spread. Strangers wrote: "I want to turn this into a poster." Others: "The cuteness is doubled."A single still pond, doubling the world. A coin was inevitable.
One shot, three lifetimes.
